Four series in and The Apprentice is still finding new ways to crush the life out of its candidates. This week Sir Alan Sugar sets them the challenge of taking over a pub and turning it into a themed restaurant. Catering-related tasks are always good value - remember in series two where they had to run food stalls on the Thames and Syed ordered about a million chickens by mistake? It's a recipe for disaster - a hot kitchen, stressed candidates taking themselves very seriously while wearing silly hats, customers getting antsy . . . DVDs weren't available, but it sounds like a winner.
