Do BT calls have to cost money to qualify?

Can I just check something?

I used to make 2 evening or weekend calls via BT a month using 1280 in order to keep free caller ID.

Now that weekend calls are free, does that mean that weekend calls will not count as my "qualifying" calls?

Do the qualifying calls have to cost me money in order to be qualify?

I asked the same question and was told that inclusive weekend calls in the new version of BT Together Option 1 (now called the Unlimited Weekend Plan) and inclusive calls in the new version of BT Together Option 2 (now called the Unlimited Evening & Weekend Plan) do count.

I've programmed my Orchid to send weekend UK 01 (except 01481 and 01534), 02 and 03 calls with a 1280 prefix rather than via my CPS (Primus).

I can't be bothered to ask Primus whether 01481 and 01534 calls are free like all other 01 calls so (not that I can remember even having made any) they're programmed to use the 18185 prefix to be on the safe side.

Why would you suspect 01481 and 01534 calls might not be free?

I have never seen any exclusions to the 01, 02 and 03 charge group.

I thought that it had to be two chargeable calls per month and not free calls

BT specifically excludes calls to the Channel Islands now.

See note 1 at the bottom of BT's pdf HERE.

Chargeable or inclusive now.

Does that mean we're going to see a similar exclusion appearing on all other inclusive packages?

I suspect that such an exclusion already applies and has done so for some time although, not having the need to call the islands, I've never had cause to search BT sites (I just happened to spot that bit in the pdf).
