Simon to win!

P.S. It looks like he has a fan in Sir Alan as well.”

I think he may well go all the way to the final, he is a hard working pleasant man who has a lot of common sense so I think he will be a good team leader and hopefully show his strengths

I agree that by far he seems the most level-headed/sensible - however, his I'm a grafter' approach can backfire on him, in so much as, he has demonstrated he will work hard and produce results, but can he inspire his team with his creativity - not the usual 'we are going to win this task' motivational gumph - but what ideas does he generate? - lots of people can work hard but not a lot of people can lead a task, inspire the team, generate loads of money and still win.

I will wait and see how he does as PM before he gets my final vote (especially since realistically none of them really shined last night - and if these bloke are really the UK's business elite - gawd help us)

I like his Jam sandwich idea, Sir Alan looked well impress haha!

I hope he goes far, in the past Sir Alan has chosen some wishy washy charecters to win the show (I mean Michelle Dewberry, come on! ) but hopefully this year he will choose a strong charecter like Simon.

Hello, I agree that Simon comes across really well, he's hardworking, has common sense, good team player and shows sparks of initiative.

Also doesn't seem to talk himself up in quite the same way as the other candidates, he's a sky installer who knows he has more in him and wants to prove it. Rather than claiming to be a highly successful, leader in the field blah blah blah, like the rest of them.

Definitely my favourite so far. Can't believe Ian was stupid enough to take him into the boardroom when he'd just had a chat with SAS, who seemed to like him!!

He's that rare combination of being intelligent, hard-working and totally unpretentious. These are rare characters on The Apprentice, and they usually do well. I see it in Helene as well, and at the moment I'm rooting for a Simon/Helene final.

I have a bad feeling about next week, though. One balls-up and any good qualities will be overlooked - it's what happened to Shazia.

P.S. I'm totally hot for him.

I've liked him from the start, and I fancy him a bit too.

I don't see him going anywhere soon.

I was worried that Alan had a rush of blood to the head and was going to get rid of Simon last night.

I love the programme but I would have seriously thought about watching it again if Simon had gone.

He's obviously more than a grafter - they wouldn't have picked him for the programme if he didn't have other skills!

I like him - and it's not often you can say that about apprentice candidates

I hate the way that other members of the boys seem to think they are superior to him - hopefully he'll show that he can handle himself as PM.

I know it's early days, but I think Simon deserves to win - but we all know this means he won't!

Ditto...they both appear to be really level-headed & don't appear to be `playing a game' at this stage. I like them both...I hope that I do at the end of the series - I think that I'm a fairly good judge of character & I've had some success in guessing who wins in the past...so, fingers crossed!

Something else that caught my attention was how he kept his cool at the market when he was trying to talk to Ian and Kevin and they ignored about three or four times because they were too preoccupied with tomatoes to listen.

Glad I'm not the only one fancying Simon.

Sorry to dissapoint you all but he's not going to win. You can just tell. The outspoken ones sometimes reach the top 2 but never win. Anyway, I love the guy but genuinely think that people like Ian and other incapable contestants, make him look a whole lot better than he actually is

You may well be right, however that does not mean that people aren't allowed to WANT him to win!

I'm liking Simon very much too - he seems well grounded with no airs or graces about him. He just knuckles down and gets on with the task in hand.

I don't like any of them, I hope the ground opens up and swallows them all.

Still, I'll enjoy the show each week to see who makes a fool of themselves and pick up some handy tips of how not to be.

He has a strong character and has (I think) a good way about him

The best of the blokes by a long shot!

I see I'm not the only one who fancies the lovely Simon!

(Esqualita, I seem to remember you also fancied Gav, the wedding singer in last year's X-Factor - as did I - I think you and I must have the same taste in men!)

I like him a lot, attractive, hardworking, not afraid to get stuck in so to speak!

I see him being there at the end.

I have a feeling Simon has it in the bag.

I think they are going for the whole "working class hero" angle this year.

I like Simon too and think he's a serious contender to date, but I do like Alex ,liked the way he fought his corner in the boardroom week 1, after being stitched up by Raef and Nicholas, also I'd like to see more of Lee ...as for the others no ...and very disappointed with the girls this year.
