And just to update people, we are nearing the end of many BBC shows from VoD (2 days until they disappear), hopefully a impressive new selection will show up come June 1st.

So does my sister. Personally, Hustle series 2/4 would be good for me - got the S1 DVD and watched and rewatched S3 on VoD.

Catch-up TV now contains up to 18 pages of programmes [mostly BBC now that iPlayer has been built in] and is also being ordered differently, with latest programmes first. This might take a while to get used to.

There's a lot more than that, actually. There are 20 pages of factual programmes alone. I think you must be looking at just one of the programme types when you quote 18 pages.

Think how much more exciting (or complicated), it'll become if ITV add their entire Video On Demand service to this...

Sorry, I mean on Catch Up menus, by date, for certain days. I think Friday has 15 pages of an assortment of programmes arranged by date, no categories.

ITV & Five have decided not to join at the moment. VM can't force ITV and Five to offer programmes to the system.

They tried to pass that ER pilot off as HD for about a week
Surprised they are announcing those particular comedies since all 3 have been on VoD for ages now. Going with the old announce things multiple times to make it look as if they are doing loads.

A Media Guardian article on Monday said "there are discussions about putting ITV's catch up TV service on Virgin Media but no deal ahs yet been signed."
Hopefully we'll see them sooner rather than later. |
