I noticed this over Christmas. It's a very useful feature, something which was long overdue!

Now they've done it on VOD, how about doing it on the Filmflex movies too?

Disney Music has been added to the films section, all it has is Hannah Montana content.

I have up to 39 out of the 43 episodes, but the web site says we should have 35.

They have all arrived now here too. Missing HD episodes of Big Love though. Hopefully NGTV will sort out all this mess.

Anyone else an E.R. fan, decided to watch the last series on the on demand service, only to get to the end after 2 wks watching on and off to find the whole series isn't on!!

I reckon they are missing at least one episode possibly 2 (I roughly remember the storylines but not sure if it was 2 episodes or one long finale at the end).

Blooming annoying

I agree that it's annoying - after all this time, there is still no satisfactory way of gauging how long a series is going to remain on the system. It is unreliable, certain programmes within the series are sometimes missing and you just can't plan to watch the programme you have selected over the number of weeks that you choose to watch it.

Personally, I like to choose the series and then watch one a week until the end, although I know others prefer to watch back to back.

However, because 'TV Choice' is so badly managed and there are not many good drama series on there that appeal to me, I tend to use Catch Up TV more now, just for the one off programmes. It's a shame, I just don't think VM have made the most of this service.

Programming from CNBC has been recently added to on demand, and is available to all users.

It hasn't arrived here yet, must be a gradual rollout. What programming is available in there?

As far as I know, you cannot record on-demand content as it's copy protected - even if you plug the box into a DVD recorder using the TV Out Scart the DVD won't record it.

As reported yesterday, Demand Five is now live in Catch-Up On Demand. HD versions of Neighbours and Home and Away have been added today and they're both DOG and advert-free.

NBC Universal's 'TV Box' or 'US Boxsets' as VM call it has launched in TV Choice and the Virgin Media Player. Now available: full 1st seasons of 30 Rock, Heroes, House, Lipstick Jungle and The Office in SD and HD.
