Another con is that their Scrabble competition's cash prizes are actually lastminute.com vouchers.

I actually find subway quite cheap. I get the 6 inch chicken and bacon ranch sub which costs £3.70, a drink and a cookie all for £3 under the student meal deal! Plus i get to drink as much coke as I like.

I can't wait for Freaky Eaters to do an episode dedicated to someone who only eats at Subway. Not because I watch Freaky Eaters but because I watch TV Burp.

Seriously, no one who can be described as snobby or posh would ever set foot in someplace where you are in such close contact with ugly poor people. It's as low as Mcdonalds, Burger King and any other fast food restaurant/court. We don't even like being on the same side of the street as you lot.

Neither would anyone who has any knowledge of food and nutrition. I mean you may as well just pour acid on your teeth and put a steak through your heart.

McDonalds may be absolutely crap food, but at least the prices have barely deviated (69p hamburger, 99p reg coke, 99p McFlurry etc.)”

£7

£6 and a cornerhouse card (freebie) gets me two six inch subs, two cookies, and two bottemless softdrinks , which because there's two of us buying it only cost £3 for dinner (although I do have to walk past two other outlets to get to that one, and have a third closer to my office )

I find the food at subway bland and boring.

I went to a subway in this country for the first time this week in London. I ordered a melt which the sign said would be £3.40 but for some strange reason the cashier asked me for £4.30. Does the salad cost extra? I didn't question it as my work's expenses were paying for it. It wasn't that great either for the money.

I think Subway are awfully overrated, and damn expensive.

I have eaten the meatball marinara one and quite enjoyed it. Wouldn't rave about it though and it was pricey for what it was.

After eating roast beef or shrimp po' boys in New Orleans I'm afraid few sandwiches will ever live up to that ideal...
