Some help please....?

I have just bought my first HD TV and basically want to know would be the best cables to use for purpose.

As well as the TV, I also have a PS3, Wii, Sky+ and Bose Lifestyle surround system. I need to know what sort of cable should connect what to what ?

The only things I know for definite are that the PS3 should connect to the TV with a HDMI cable, and also that the Bose has neither HDMI or Scart capability, but is currently hooked up using component cables and I think has the possibility of optical connection. The Sky + box is not HD, hopefully I will get one soon.........!

All help gratefully appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

Well looking at the equipement listed I would say that you should connect the ps3 via hdmi and optical to the bose, bose to tv via component, wii to tv via scart and sky to tv via scart.

you then have hdmi's free for future sky hd etc.

If the bose system supports sound inputs via rca then connect the tv audio out r/l to the bose so the wii and sky sound can come through the bose. If theres only 1 aux input on the bose (optical) then you are a bit snookered sound wise, unless theres an optical sound output on the tv (my samsung has one) which you could use.
