Its only available as a RED button service on Freesat - so not a channel.

It will be testing during December on Freeview - but not available to the public until later.

It was on Telewest when it originally launched.
It was only on Telewest in 2006 when they (and the BBC) were trialling HD broadcasting.

IIRC, apart from the World Cup matches they only showed old programmes and films not the then current ITV1 output.

Space 1999 (I believe) was one on the HD programmes.

It was - and in 16:9.

If 16:9 prints exist at ITV, why the hell do they show it on ITV4 in 4:3.

I thought people wanted things in their original format. Which for "Space 1999" would be 4:3.

Some shows were shot in 16:9 but only shown on TV 4:3. Babylon 5 and the early series of ER spring to mind. They had their first outing in 16:9 when released on DVD.

Whether this applies to Space 1999 is anyones guess.

Can't imagine that any TV show filmed in the 1970s would have been in anything other than 4:3.

Living 2 appears to have been rebranded as Living it.

And Movies 24 has (presumably temporarily) become Christmas 24.

I also appear to have gained Disney Cinemagic - is this a promotion or has it been permanently moved to XL?

Reason i put spotted not added is because someone else may have noticed it first.

ZING has appeared on Channel 811 of the EPG on Virgin Media.

ZING Is an international Extra Subscription Channel and is not available by default in any package.

Also SKY CHRISTMAS is located on Channel 412.

Movies 24 Temporarily as Christmas 24 on Channel 424, Movies24+ is still as Movies24+ on Channel 425.

Unfortunately this isn’t a new channel.

Zee Muzic was rebranded Zing on 02/10/09.

I think it's actually because LIVINGit +1 (Or LIVING2 +1 before it) launched in place of Trouble +1, so got it's old EPG position (both on VM and on Sky).

The same can also be said for LIVING +2 as it replaced Trouble, so is in it's EPG position on both VM and Sky.

You actually mentioned the words 'new channel' and 'spotted'.

Back on topic, Absolute Xtreme (channel 951) has been renamed Absolute 80s.

From the Bristol Hub, the local commercial radio stations GWR, Severn Sound (both now Heart), Red Dragon and Classic Gold all have gone from the EPG.

Obviously Heart London & the national variant of Gold remain.

Sorry but I have ONLY 302 Services on my V+ box with 35
TS Streams...

I know that channel list that Virgin puts out in it's on-line magazine is not right as I do not have History+1 But we do have two extra ITV1 as we are in place were three ITV1 by DTT So it's only fair that we have the option to see our normal region, I would add it would be nice to have the same with BBC One too.

It would nice to see how many cable area's have different channels from each other, when we were told that after Telewest and NTL got together under the name of virgin which hired at first, that all would be matched.

the alignement process is sitll under way, what the point of previous deals nt l and telewest having being ripped up to make newones they let them expire then sign new ones for the entire network , the channel lineup will eb the smae with 2-3 years as the lognet contract signed was for 5 years and asusming it was jsut before the merger then it has 20-3 year left ot run

BBC Radio Bristol (Ch.938) and BBC Radio Gloucestershire (Ch.939), now removed from Bristol Hubbed services, with the slide "This Radio Station is no longer broadcasting on Digital TV platforms in the UK." currently being shown
