Channel 999 is now showing a new 'welcome to Virgin Media' screen with an invite to press the red button to get started. It links you to the help and info page.

I think it's time the help videos were updated, they are stuck in the days when HD was just BBC or On Demand

Channel 970 disappeared almost immediately. I only had it for 24 hours, Why? I don't know.

It allows a Search of all TV Services, so if I key "Elvis" it returns all entries split into categories On Demand, TV Guide and so on. Some of the programmes have no occurrence of the word Elvis, though, so not sure why they appear in the list. I can see it being very useful in the TV Guide, but it would be better if it was there, rather than hidden away in a sub-menu.

At least this search function sort of works - before, on the rare occasions I tried to search the guide for anything it completely locked up the box each and every time, and I had to do a reboot to get it unlocked.

NME radio says "Channel is no longer broadcasting" but there's still music coming out.

I'm suprised Film 4 has moved from 444. I thought it was to going to be the Film4HD channel number instead. Guess not. Would be nice to have more film channels though.

I'm guessing this means Liviing +2 is being dropped then?

In the 'Technical Stuff' menu the Transport Streams have shot up from 36 to 48 and the Total Services have gone from 316 to 329, maybe this is in advance of new HD/SD channels.

I have 48 Transport Streams and 336 Services.

They must at least be testing some new channels.

Hopefully some new HD channels are imminent.
