I repeat -this is a changelog - not much point in only posting channel changes that interest YOU.

Quite right. I don't pop in here often but it is sometimes a useful list. There are masses of other topics on here so people not interested should go elsewhere.

I've just noticed that BBC1 England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales and BBC2 England have appeared on channels 861-865. When did they appear, they were never there before.

It does mean that here in London we have 3 virtually identical BBC1's: London, Audio Description, England. And 3 BBC2's: 2 Englands and Audio Description.

A bit of a waste really

I certainly remember watching something on BBC1 Scotland back in 2008, so they must have been there for quite some time.

AFAIK NTL had the regional variants but telewest never. They were added to ex telewest when they moved over to the next gen tv services this year.

I wouldn't have thought so as their English language service isn't that old. The Arabic service probably wasn't carried either.

Surprised Al Jazerra has taken so long to come to virgin media seeing as it's on freeview, wonder if the extra espn channels will be avaliable for people on the xl package
