Sky Sports HD1 and Sky Sports HD2 are now called Sky Sports 1HD and Sky Sports 2HD on the EPG.

There is also now a new logo on Sky Sports 1HD and Sky Sports 2HD

Just noticed this is no longer on the EPG - no ones mentioned it as far as I can see (must have been a well watched channel!).
Did a search and found a wiki entry that states it ceased on 21st February

And why are you so happy, I used to watch this channel a lot and miss it?

From at least last night, Sky Sports f1 has been showing a short promo loop (a different one to the 5 min loop on satellite.)

Channel 155 was Current TV which "closed on March 11, 2012 following BSkyB's withdrawal of support and a failed rescue attempt from Current TV".

Eurosport 3D now on channel 523.
This is for the French Open (tennis) starting Monday.

I wonder if it will then stay on caption or drop out for a few weeks - before the Olympic coverage?

Eurosport are advertising 3D as being available for the Olympics, so I suppose Virgin will just keep a channel open for it.

Another sensible move up the EPG. Come on Virgin pull out the old finger and rearrange this mess!

They should merge SD & HD versions of channels then give you the one you subscribe to.

Put the terrestrial 5 on 191/192/193/194/195 for the time being until they get their regions & adverts sorted.

Then there is no need for channels being miles away from their parent unless some clever dick starts doing some other timeshift.

I agree I have been saying this for a long time now

HD channels should be displayed on HD boxes unless there is not a SD version then the SD version then appears on HD boxes

SD channels should ONLY appear on SD boxes without any HD channels on there,
there should be one channel only with a message saying for HD channels please upgrade to a HD box

I don't mind HD channels getting better slots on HD receivers (I have Tivo myself) but I still want to have SD versions at the moment for storage of recordings.

SD versions are also handy for watching certain old shows that aren't in the correct aspect ratio on HD. Shows like The Simpsons have ugly black lines at the side on HD on pre HD episodes.
