There is a coming soon screen on channel 828 for The Africa Channel.
It is launching on Virgin in a few days. It is already on satellite and shows a wide variety of African shows, including shows from South Africa and Kenya.
Not exactly Sky Atlantic but I'm sure people from or interested in Africa will enjoy some of the shows.

No sign of The Africa Channel UK on my ex-NTL/CWC Pace Di4000-N STB here in Aylesbury or even a place-holder on channel 828 yet. As it is now a Free-To-Air channel on Sky, I hope we will have it on VM soon.
Other than that, there has been little or no movement on the VM network apart from the fleeting appearance of the additional BBC and Channel4 channels for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Total channels / streams 420 / 48 here currently but the games coverage showed that there is plenty of capacity still available.

I have had a phone call from my Virgin Insider, Cinemoi - the French Movie channel will stop broadcasting on Virgin from the 12th of November
and Cinemoi Customers will be having a £6.99 Credit added to their bill in November/December

I suspect it could be completely closing down in the UK and Ireland, the website merely has a holding page now.
They have recently launched on DirecTV so maybe they are concentrating on the US now?

it's possible. However Film4 likes to show different stuff so perhaps the content is still here just through another channel?
