First they took away Toon Disney now all we're left with is the crap Disney Channels this one was the best out of all 3
Yes, I liked Toon Disney as well, at least I can still watch the main Disney Channel as it was only moved to the Sky Kids pack now in the Sky Entertainment Extra pack

im confused.

so Cinemagic is closing.

will be renamed as sky movies disney say and bundled with movies? or will all the disney films shown on cinemagic just be bundled into sky movies family for example.

Either way it sucks, but then thats sky for you.

Hi,

As a few have suggested, now seems like an appropriate time to bring the old ex-NTL and ex-Telewest changelog threads into one thread.

Where a change pertains to one platform in particular, please note this alongside the change. Thanks!
question for u james welsh..
why do digital spy keep old threads for years ago.. delete them mate, store in in your system, but get rid of it on the thread menus.we dont need old threads from years ago,
years the last 12 months, but not 2,3,4 etc etc years ago,its old stuff..

This is a changelog thread. Can you please refrain from making posts that do not involve changes to the VM television service. Thanks

Just found it under 'Browse TV & Collections'. Didn't it used to be under 'Catch up & On Demand'?

The new Discovery channels are on XL only. I believe the new Asian channels are available on M+ and above.

Indeed. Some people are only interested in themselves.

I like the wide variety of viewing channels. The niche stations gives a greater choice to attract a wider audience.

With Virgin Media being bought by Liberty Global, perhaps more European and worldwide channels will be added to the portfolio?.

Are they planning to launch something on 215 ? - Investigation Discovery HD ?

Why else did they move Animal Planet to 216 ?

Possibly 'ID HD' is in the pipeline for both VM & Sky, or 215 could be left for 'ID+1'.

Some days ago (last week I think) 'Investigation' was renamed as 'ID' on the Sky platform, the reason for the change could be so that they can add 'HD' or '+1'to the end of the name without it being too long to fit the digit allocation on the respective EPG's.

YouTube slate on channel 198.

Also, VM have renewed their carriage agreement with NBC Universal and we should see The Style Network (sister channel to E! Entertainment) available on channel 285 soon.

Universal HD and E! HD (as well as Animal Planet HD) will also be added in the coming months.

Why the delay? a cynic might suggest that these are being held back to use to sweeten the blow to XL pack users should VM eventually lose the ESPN channels.

What the point of You tube being on channel 198 when you can go into the apps and get it there.?

If you want to look...i cant see the point of it.

However BT sports should replace ESPN.

I assume not all of ESPN will go. only ESPN UK, and ESPN UK HD.

I can see classic staying and ESPN America. I wonder then if we will get ESPN America HD?

Also if BT Sports is only one channel, can we not bundle Premier sports in as well then?

ESPN are withdrawing their foreign operations to concentrate on their home market, so it's quite possible that all ESPN channels will go.

Premier Sport wanted to be included in the XL package but VM wanted it to be a stand alone pay channel. They failed to reach an agreement.

BT Sports will, most likely be available on VM, but probably as a premium add on, rather than included in XL.

None of these changes have happened yet, so please continue any discussion in another thread rather than on the changelog.
