What the point of You tube being on channel 198 when you can go into the apps and get it there.?

http://community.virginmedia.com/t5/...o/td-p/1719082

If you want to look...i cant see the point of it.
It is simply for convenience and in line with VM's strategy to integrate. You don't need to use it!

Why the delay? a cynic might suggest that these are being held back to use to sweeten the blow to XL pack users should VM eventually lose the ESPN channels.
Possibly. Or it could be because ITV2 HD, ITV3 HD and ITV4 HD are due to be added first

When added:
ITV2 HD - 176
ITV3 HD - 177
ITV4 HD - 178

Perhaps a cynic should now ask which channel More 4 HD will be added on...

So that will be a total of 46 HD channels when they are added , personally i think Virgin will have 50+ HD channels by the end of the year.

They really should switch all HD channels to MPEG4 = about double the amount of HD recording space , anyone with SA V+ box would just all HD channels if they didn't want to upgrade.

Considering that many SA V+ users got the box to access the HD channels, losing them might not be too popular. Although as TiVo becomes more popular it will become less of a problem.

Can't see it mentioned anywhere else but it looks as though Universal and syfy+1 have been removed. Sorry my mistake, they've moved to 136-138
