I wish we could change the order of the channels to suit ourselves.

I would put all the channels I watch the most at the front and channels such as the ones with programmes about embarrassing bodies and the guy with the wiggly worms coming out of his scalp at the back of the listings.
There used to be the option years ago then they did away with it.

I'm on the M+ pack and MTV and Animal Planet are now available to me. Does anyone here know if it's a permanent move to M+ or are they freebies for a limited time.

I'm not sure why they would want to put less popular channels higher up on the EPG. I would have thought that clearing the range up to 310 is more likely to be to reserve the space for Music OD channels.
What I meant to say was 318 and 319 for MTV Music and MTV Classic.

Maybe... when I saw the MTV channels being moved around, I half expected them to leave a gap for the missing channels. But it became obvious that they were moving the MTV branded channels into a block, followed by VH1 and VIVA. MTV Live and MTV Rocks were the last ones to move and there still seemed to be gaps available for new additions. Then MTV Live moved to 311 with MTV Rocks moving to 315, closing up any remaining gaps. The way they are arranged doesn't look like they are planning on adding anything else. It's possible that I could be reading too much into it, it just didn't seem too encouraging.

I think more stuff is on the horizon. the way VM seem to be going at the moment they are adding stuff on a mothly basis nearly. Just look at hat we have got since January.

im inclined to agree with martine93, I think MTV Music and MTV classic might be coming.

Why on earth put Comedy Central HD at 181? Utter madness shunting HD channels to the back!

I think it would make a lot of sense to give HD channels four digit numbers which are 1000 higher than the regular version.

That way, on Virgin Media, if you went to 1101 you'd get BBC One HD, 1521 would get you Sky Sports 1 HD and so on and it wouldn't clog up the channel numbers and leave more space in the desirable slots in the 100s-200s especially.

Maybe future 3D channels could have a 3 at the beginning.

Can't see that happening , they would probably just create a Entertainment overspill section instead e.g 244 - 259 when they run out of space in the 100s.

B4U Music now free to view on 816. Think a new channel was on Epg then taken off again around 1am. Will wait and see in morning.

It's likely temporary as the BBC need extra streams for the Summer content.

However TiVo now has access to the streams as part of the CRB even when they aren't in the EPG, so you won't miss anything again

I have it and we're in the M+ package so am guessing it will be on L and XL too, Glad Food Network is on M+ now as it is a freeview channel.

Anyone know if UKTV Drama (new channel) will also be on Virgin Media or is it exclusive to just Freeview?
