I would love the new channel to show Casualty, Londons Burning and Brookside.

The EPG is a joke now, needs a complete re order
It is getting the old NTL random look, a major clean-up is long overdue.

Why can't cable have an "also available in HD" option like on some freeview boxes.
Then it doesn't matter what the numbers are.

I think a few brands have this feature but at least some (if not all) Humax Freeview HD boxes definitely have it. The feature alerts you to the HD alternative which you can either tune to directly, or record.

Many Freesat including Humax boxes have the same feature.

Both Humax and Huawei Youview boxes also have this feature too.

Another day without any changes to the Virgin media digital platform and now we're discussing Freeview and Freesat boxes!!!

Can we please get back on track with this thread and discuss other items elsewhere?

Obviously someone pointing out that the changelog is meant for logging changes and a source of reference where changes should be easy to look up (without having to plough through hundreds of irrelevant posts). Let's cut down on the thread "noise" please guys and keep it relevant.

DS moderation is reactive rather than proactive. Users are trusted to post responsibly, without needing a nanny to clear up their mess.

The EPG seems to be wrong.

isn't it about time this went back to being the CHANGELOG, and stopped being a general discussion thread.

Every time I see this updated I look expecting a new channel launch, instead I see some ejit with a fantasy channel wish or a problem with their box.
Agreed!

Blighty will close on 6th of July at 3am according to the TiVo EPG " Channel is No Longer Available "
It seems that it is being replaced by Drama as, over time, it had beome less of a documentary channel and more of a historical drama channel.

Who remembers when UK TV Drama became Alibi? Now Blighty is being dropped and Drama is being resurrected!

No doubt it will come to VM sooner or later.

Not sure if this is new but a much nicer channel off air screen is now in use. Much better than the old black 4:3 screen with the huge Virgin logo

Looks nice, the text is a bit small for standard definition though, would probably look better in high definition.

Do the two people with standard definition TVs still matter?

The extra BBC Olympic channels have finally been completely removed. Only found out when I couldn't watch the opening/closing ceremonies again

Making room for new channels?
