VM is crap. They are pathetic if they can't negotiate to get BT Sports with Liberty Global behind them.

Been a while since the thread has kept to the topic.
Threads waver; especially when there's no new "on topic" stories to add.

To be fair, it's not just VM; for a couple of them at least.
VM is crap. They are pathetic if they can't negotiate to get BT Sports with Liberty Global behind them.
And you know they haven't/aren't doing... how, exactly? Also, has that deal actually gone through yet?

Well, they are not going to take the EPG information off, only to put it on again.

All will be sorted within the next 3 weeks.

Well the BT Sport channels are testing.
The ironic thing is that BT Sport 1 and 2 ARE available on cable, right now, they are known as TEST A, B, C and D (A and B are the SD versions and C and D are the HD versions)..

Their SIDs are 2c3, 2c8, eda and f3d (just in case someone thinks I'm...)

The fact the services ARE present on the stream (in both SD and HD) surely must mean you guys will get access to them very shortly...All they have to do is sign the contract and add the services to your EPG [& probably charge more].

TCM 2 becomes TCM +1 on 13th of August and will broadcast 24 hours a day. The TiVo EPG was updated today to reflect this change. It wasn't like that when i looked yesterday.

Good spot.

Drama should be added to channel 244 this week. Overspill section perhaps now that the 1xx regions are almost full.

Also if the BT Sport channels ever become available on VM they've been allocated channels 547-550.

I read on twitter that it will be on channel 190...
https://twitter.com/robin_wiggs/stat...42609570779138

Maybe 244 was the original number for the Drama but they decided to do a reshuffle of the UKTV +1 channels instead ?

It makes sense really and maybe the reshuffle has been done in preparation of an HD/SD swap like sky have

The EPG is a joke now, needs a complete re order
yes you have to wonder why they don't stick to the same grouping

what is the point in moving

Eden 208
Eden HD 209
Eden +1 210

to

Eden 208
Eden +1 209
Eden HD 210

as after all they have

Animal Planet 216
Animal Planet HD 217
Animal Planet +1 218

they should stick to the same grouping for all so that we know where we stand.

Another devaluation of the XL pack then , wonder if VM have a surprise coming to reinforce the difference between M+ and XL?
