Did someone not say it was 517?
The web page has now been updated so Sky Sports News is on 517.

I think this has only happened today.

Daystar TV and Wedding TV are both listed on the Virgin Media website.

http://allyours.virginmedia.com/html...ull_genre.html

Both are listed under the Entertainment genre and on the XL pack.

That seems a bit odd as God Channel which is a religion channel, like Daystar TV, is on the L and XL pack.

I would say that both Daystar TV and Wedding TV are more Lifestyle channels rather than Entertainment.

Also BET UK, which appearently started testing the same time as these two did, is not listed.

But this could be a sign that they are coming soon.

Virgin Central/1/+1 have now all moved to 118 119 120.

All the Sky channels now on the EPG with a 'Broadcasting from Thursday' message and a info slate with the channel numbers and upgrade info.

I have noticed that when you access the interactive you no longer get the tv channel that you were watching in the box along side the info.It is now Virgin Central.

That only happens when you are viewing any Sky channels. It's a feature we've had from the Telewest days.

I've just received next weeks Radio Times, and it lists some channel number changes on Virgin from Tuesday of next week -

150 - Five US (was 185)
152 - Fiver (was 186)
157 - FX (was 179)
162 - Hallmark (was 190)
163 - Hallmark +1 (was 191)

The printed version of the Radio Times doesn't list E! Entertainment, Zone Horror, Diva TV /+1, DMAX or MTV ®, but seen as Virgin seem to be shuffling channels to lower numbers, I suppose it's likely these channels may well move as well.

I have gotten, this morning, TV & Satellite Week. It also confirms these new channel numbers.

Is there any point to all this channel shuffling as it seems to be just fannying about for the sake of it.

Was thinking the same thing the other day, They seem to be freeing up the 170 - 200 slots. There must be some plan else what what would the point.

Are we expecting any more channel launches in the next few weeks?

Zone Horror moving to 149 (ex 170).

Possibly making room to slot in a few +1 time-shifts, oh yes, and some "fannying about for the sake of it".

I think channel 170 is also where SKY house SKY1 HD on their EPG.

I live in hope.

Hopefully I'm wrong though

Reallocated channels:

148 Zone Reality (ex 155)
149 Zone Horror (ex 170)
150 Five US (ex 185)
152 Fiver (ex 186)
156 E! Entertainment (Ex 173)
157 FX (ex 179)
162 Hallmark (ex 190)
163 Hallmark +1 (ex 191)
164 Diva TV (ex 192)
165 Diva TV +1 (ex 193)
170 MTV R (ex 196)
172 DMAX (Ex 197)

The positioning of the Zone channels suggests the other Chello Zone channels (Reality +1, Romantica and Thriller won't be added in the near future).

Convenient spaces left after More 4, Five US and Fiver to add the +1 channels.

Switched on to Magic (340) today and got a pop-up message stating:

"Magic is currently free to view for all L and XL customers until Jan 6th, when it will only appear in the XL pack. If you are not an XL pack subscriber, please call us on 0845 454 1111 to subscribe."

Haven't surfed around other channels yet to see if any others are affected.

Perhaps VM should have put pop-up messages on the channels that moved recently (Five US, Hallmark etc.) to give us advance notice.
