I remember Telewest had these messages on free to view channels a few years ago but they abandoned it after the rebrand to Virgin.

Interesting, every time I plan to upgrade, Virgin Media go and shoot themselves in the foot. Wie schade! Jetzt heißt es Abschied nehmen. |

Another one lost..... Probably to make way for another useless +1 channel or more.....
Looks like I'll have to slap the dish on the windowsill if I want to watch now.... So apart from TV5 there is now NO 'international' channels..... I don't include the Asian ones in this as they are mostly UK based. |

DW-TV's online service is not very reliable but if you're happy watching online it's available with Zattoo and Livestation. |

Better point it at 13 E or 19 E if you want DW-TV FTA - The service on Sky is encrypted, part of the Style & Culture Pack.
DW-TV's online service is not very reliable but if you're happy watching online it's available with Zattoo and Livestation. Precisely what I sometimes do. I've no real interest in 28.2/5 unless it's for the occasional look. ... 13e & 19e are my usual choice anyway. I can see them eventually taking off TV5 too. They'd say "why pay for carriage when nobody watches?" Replace with another +1 or a shopping channel and say "Another exciting new channel for free" They'd pay for that too, nobody will watch but it WOULD STILL make money. |

This brings it into line with ex-NTL where neither channel was available.

On Virgin TV Music on Demand playlists, it's now possible to skip back and forward between tracks using buttons 1 and 3. You can also set a track to repeat using 4, or allow the whole playlist to repeat with 6.

Just noticed that if you set a reminder for any program, then try and set the reminder again, it will now ask if you want to cancel the reminder for that program - I'm sure it would say there was a program clash until recently, and not do anything.
However, if you set a reminder for a program, and there is already a reminder set for a different program starting at the same time, it still gives the program clash message - surely it should ask if you want to replace the original reminder? Still, at least you don't have to come out of the TV guide to cancel reminders now. |

New On Demand feature I've noticed today - in Music On Demand, if you go into Playlists there's now the ability to skip between songs when you play one using the "1" and "3" buttons on your remote.
Very handy. Can't wait for the custom playlists feature to launch (if it ever does). |

It appears there have been two channels added to ex-NTL today, but not sure what they are. There were a total of 312 services yesterday, now there are 314. I am in North West, so
Any idea what they are? Thanks, |

No wonder I didn't notice - I do not look in that area! What a waste of capacity!

AGB Nielsen is reporting that 'Living 2 +1' will begin BARB reporting on Thursday 5th February. The associated Word Document indicates that the channel will be reported on the DSAT and DCAB platforms.
