It would appear that VH1 was one of two channels deleted from analogue in November. The other may have been Virgin 1.

This old station, for the last couple of days at least, has been broadcasting a channel that appears to be called Chill DAB. There isnt such a channel on my DAB radio though....

NASN has been renamed ESPN America on Ch 533.

Zone Horror on Ch 149 is having a freeview this month for L pack customers. (thanks to Nick-2005 for noticing this)

Fantastic, I've missed this on cable. The web feed just doesn't cut it sometimes.

Indeed. I'd have thought they would have put it in slot 113, which is free, next to Living 2.

It's the Bravo 2 thing all over again.... (for those who don't know, when Player (a spin off from Challenge so was placed 'next' to Challenge) was rebranded to Bravo 2, it stayed next to Challenge for a long time before eventually moving next to Bravo).

Eurosport has gone widescreen - I was sitting watching it for an hour before I realised.

Discovery also gone widescreen, or at least I've only just noticed that it's gone widescreen. Could this be a hint of which HD channels we're getting?

No - its a sign that some channels have brought themselves up-to-date.

Eurosport that you get on cable is not the same service as the HD channel - they sometimes have different programming.

I think you will find that the HD content will be on TV Choice rather than Catch Up, but we will see.

The TV Choice section is still being loaded up. There should be 500 hours of ITV programmes on there in due course.

AGB Nielsen is reporting that 'Living +2' will begin BARB reporting on Wednesday 1st April. The associated Word Document indicates that the channel will be reported on the DSAT and DCAB platforms.

But this hasn't happened yet, so is not for the changelog. The "coming soon.." thread would've been a better place.

There's not much point having a changelog if people put general discussions in it. (I'm just as guilty too...) It's only meant for when changes happen on VM's tv service and nothing else, including discussion.

More sci-fi VOD content on its way:

Virgin demands Fireworks

UK cable operator Virgin Media and Fireworks International, the television distribution arm of big-screen sales house ContentFilm, have agreed a video-on-demand programming pact.

Over the next year, Fireworks will supply more than 275 hours of content to Virgin Media's TV Choice on-demand library service, with particular emphasis on its recently launched science-fiction and fantasy series.

The deal includes titles such as Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda, Mutant X and Relic Hunter, and was agreed by Fireworks International's senior VP of digital distribution, Jonathan Ford.

Ford said: “The new Sci-fi & Fantasy section, which launched in February, caters for legions of fans who can now watch their favourite long-running shows at any time, planning their own TV schedules.”
