I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I wonder if Brian Sewell would consent to appear on YF. Indeed, has he ever been on?

And in defense of the university, Professor D Cairns said ""Some of my colleagues have been giving a lot of exposure to the Muslim world recently, with trips to Iran and North Africa. If Mr Sophocles had been a student now at Edinburgh, I guarantee you he would have been better informed about this.". I think he's still missing the point somewhat!

Jennifer's story in the Sunday Mirror. Makes an interesting read in parts. Poor soul.

Katie - with some changes to her ordering of the contestants........

I'm sorry but Katie really has an inflated idea of her own importance. What is this "strong leader we have come to expect" from Helene? She's only been a leader once and she only won then beacuse the other team were even more dismal! As for her personal remarks about the girls' looks - she aint beauty queen material herself. People in glass houses etc...

I thought Katie's piece was very witty and insightful, if a little more venomous than required.

Meeting with Shazia Saleem with Real business editor-remember her? The first woman to be booted off.

Her friends and herself likes Raef. Thinks Him and Lee should be top two.

Does not rate the women-nothing new there?

Apprentice is not real business- well we know that and are not fooled!

Someone else finds the firing of Raef a mistery. Or is it a case of 'Toffitis'? Make up your mind.

"Some thing has gone...." best describes Raef's swift demise from the show.

Real business take on the firing.

Thought this was quite an interesting take on the advertising task from the editor of Campagin, an advertising magazine...

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/me...ng-834270.html

Quote:
“I wonder how many brand managers and marketing directors found themselves nodding in agreement. Clients, the ad clich goes, always want bigger logos, more prominent pack shots; creatives see it as their job to argue these down. Sir Alan hit a raw nerve: the ongoing tension between advertising as art and advertising as blunt sales tool. The best ads tread a fine line between the two jobs. But few clients get the best ads; an awful lot of clients get ads for brands none of us can name.”

The question is do they really want the job; Or are they all looking for something esle?

Interesting that that (rather good) article perpetuates the myth that AS's chair is on a platform.

Don't people ever think?

Why would it need to be on a platform.

Chairs like that are adjustable so that people of various heights can comfortably work whilst sitting in them.

There's an article in the TV Times asking 5 people with links to The Apprentice who they think should win.

Raef - Lee or Lucinda
Ruth Badger - Lee or Claire but also praises Lucinda.
Jacqueline Gold - Lucinda or Claire
Michelle Mone - Lee or Lucinda
Michelle Dewberry - doesn't specify a candidate.

Hmmm.

Looks as if Lucinda impresses people other than those on this forum.
