Hi

Can anyone advise me of a decent priced 26 inch or 32 inch LCD TV with 2 HDMI inputs .

For use in a bedroom with a Sky+ box (upgrading it to Hd soon ) and an Xbox 360

I want 2 hdmi inputs if possible , a decent price and a decent warranty

Any recommendations ?

Thanks

That's my current problem, minus the Xbox bit, i'm gettin skyHD soon and need the TV to play it!

On a serious budget, well, using a credit card that i shouldn't so i need as cheap as possible whilst being decent!

I've seen the ones in Argos (Acoustic Solutions and Wharfedale) and a couple on ebuyer but every time i try to get advice on the quality it's either "i've got one and it's great" or "don't buy [insert cheap brand] TV's they won't last 2 min" so i don't know what to think!

Ext Warranties are definitly important to me too, esp. if i end up with one of those 'lesser brand' TV's!!

I suppose if it lasts a couple of years and then dies i can use the ext guarantee refund to put towards a better one, no harm done!!

We can't all afford Sony/Panasonic etc!!

Check out Aldi. They do a very decent TV. It is not available as a regular line but as a special every now and then. It also comes with a three year warranty.

Well I've just ended up going rather over budget (and screen size) by ordering a Philips 32PFL5522D/05 For £450 from John Lewis, purely for the fact that they give a 5YEAR GUARANTEE!!!

It's actually a decent price for a 32" too as far as i'm concerned and Philips surely are better than Wharfedale etc.

It has 2 HDMI and 2 SCART (1RGB) and it's NTSC compatable for playing my R1 DVD's!

The same TV is £600 in Argos and that's not including an ext guarantee!

I was also able to choose my delivery slot while ordering on their website from a listed selection which i rather liked, i'm impressed with Jonh Lewis so far!!

I have a cheapo Finlux 26 " (Vestel) in my conservatory twin hdmi and loads of connectivity very expensive looking in glossy black .I also have a 26" Grundig (Alba) once again twin hdmi lovely black gloss cabinet .Highly delighted with both of them and they both cost £320 each.My budget at the time didn't stretch to a Sony or Panasonic however my father in law has a panasonic 26" which cost considerably more and I can't see a huge diference in quality.I'll let you know though they both survive 12 months.
