Does anyone know why the Lotto results have been removed from Virgin?

My family use this all the time to check, but now there's a customer announcement saying it's been removed from Virgin

Camelot apparently decided not to provide the service on Virgin TV anymore

Probably to drive people to the webiste where you can play online, so spend more

That's too logical for my family I check online, but they stick to their own ways. BBCi has the Lotto results, doesn't it?

Makes sense.

LOL

I think he means an interactive service if you press home and option 7, something like that.

I think a few things are being removed from the Interactive list as there is also a 'Customer Announcement' on the Dominos Pizza service.

Did anyone ever use that?

I used it on Sky once years ago. Dominos still have ntl on their boxes.

I wonder does anybody ever use interactive at all. Cable boxes are slow and clunky, but the interactive stuff really takes the biscuit of total unusability. In these days of fast reliable internet connections I would have thought it had pretty much died.

You can get the lottery results through the red button.
1) Press red
2) Select BBCi Home
3) Select Lottery

I don't know if this was always available or if it is new.

It's always been available. Half the time the lottery results service didn't work anyway!

Perhaps the VM removal relates to the new 'Lottery Xtra' channel now on Freeview.
