Keisha over Cleo was one of his better decisions! Keisha wiped the floor with Cleo in that sing off!

Someone put an idea in my head when discussing it this morning, maybe ALW has a production of his own coming up that he want's Fran for and thats why he got rid of her so she would be available for him.....

I would love that to be true (I would just love Fran to get back on the West End asap!) but I got the impression from ALW's comments that Fran just wasn't really his 'cup of tea'.

I just think he took the chance to 'get rid' (hate that phrase) of her when he could - it would have been far too early in week one for him to get away with. I think he knew that at any point Fran could get over the nerves and kick into gear, so there was no guarantee she would end up back in the bottom 2 any time soon - especially as so many people thought she did brilliantly in the sing-off.

I never thought I would be as, or more, annoyed after ALW picked Lewis to go into the ADWD final over Ben, but at least he got to the semi-final. The whole Fran situation was just wrong imo.

Aint that the truth, be interesting to see who gets what songs next - its all in the song choice, the ones he wants rid off he gives a crappy hard song the ones he wants to stay gets emotional ballads - real heart pullers.

I think any good business man would use this show to get new talent for up and coming shows makes perfect sense. We just dont know what he is looking for at the time he makes some of the most outragious comments or decisions.

But about 5 Maria's are working after the show and about 5 Josephs also.......so makes perfect sense to me to make good use of the talent infront of him.

“The sing-offs are going to get more and more difficult. Obviously the viewers have very different ideas about who should be Nancy. I decided to follow the panel from Las Vegas. It was a very close decision to lose Francesca but on balance she is a professional actress with a real career ahead of her. Ashley is a dark horse, next week she is going to have to convince me that I would want to pay the money to hear her in a theatre.”

I really missed Fran's presence this week

I dunno, Keisha impressed me greatly with her performance tonight. I prefer Fran's but then I'm biased because I think Francesca's got a much nicer sound to her voice (even though Keisha managed to do a bloody amazing version even though she was ill... just goes to show).

Do you know what was really weak tonight? The "Be Back Soon"... I think losing Fran and Keisha one after the other really took out the depth out of that part of the show.

I agree - the final performance did seem quite empty.

I also missed Fran in the Pick A Pocket or Two in both shows. She really added something special.

I think the whole show was lacking her presence this week. A lot of the Nancies seemed really unsure of themselves and I think it was due to losing someone so accomplished as Fran leaving long before she should have.

I think Rachel got it right with her comments at the start of the show about Fran being missed and it was obvious with the girls performances tonight especially in the group performances they missed that certain spark and that special vocal touch that Fran had, I'll be suprised if anyone can recreate her exit for me.

I maybe wrong, but I'm sure that in HDYSAPLM and ADWD that the left contenstants were pretty much always seen sat together every week until the final so far i've only seen amy this week.....

Still no reply from the beeb about Frans exit interview by the way not that I'm surprised but it will be interesting to see if she is seen in the audience at all between now and the final
