Glad to hear she was well appreciated by the crowd. Hopefully it will be a West End crowd she's performing in front of next - and asap!

i also really missed fran on the show again this week and i'm even more gutted that sarah went this week as she was my other fave. i have no idea who to support now. i can't believe all the 17/18 year olds are still there.

Yeah if you'd told me at the beginning (and when I bought my tickets!) who would be left in at this stage I would have been more than a bit

I have supported Sam since early doors though so at least I still have some hope of seeing one of my two faves in the role. I really think the stage is being set (no pun intended) for Rachel or Jessie to ultimately win though.

Sigh, there's only one girl left I like, and I reckon she'll be pushed out soon enough. It all started going downhill when Francesca left!

If by chance Fran does get shown on the telly, can it be Youtubed by someone?

Sorry recorded it last night to check and suprise suprise it wasn't shown just the indian band as they were performing in the start grid whilst the drivers were lining up so it's a case of if anyone was there and recorded it. Shame would have been good to have seen it

Ever since Fran left I've found this show to be less and less interesting as the weeks go by. I don't even really care who wins now. All of the good Nancys keep getting thrown off.

I'm can someone explain to me ALW's & JB's tought processes.

I've just been recapping and it ha highlighted to me that Fran was continually picked up on tuning when she was in the competition and JB even told her she would never get away with it with him, however this week for definite Rachel's tuning was far worse than Frans ever was, and the only comment she got was that there was a slight crack in the middle, but sometimes an emotional crack is better....

This suggests to me that the reason Fran was sent packing along with the curse of BH was because of the negative press surrounding her (unjustified I might add) that ALW was worried she wouldn't get the ticket sales and thats why she went. If thats the case he must be kicking himself now as Ashley is still there

I picked up on this as well, it seems a little unfair that Rachel can get away with being out of tune, which her performance on sat sounded really screechy and strained. she has also sang out of tune on other performances which wasn't picked up on at all. but other contestants aren't allowed to get away with it.

I don't think so. Ashley is a thorn in his side but Ashley will eventually get eliminated.

Fran was obviously not one of ALWs favorites but was talented enough to knock off his favorites earlier then he would have wanted.

More Fran in Rent, though this one is mainly Leon Lopez' Collins. Francesca's the female solo, though the rest of the cast sing at the same time, so it's not the clearest of them all. Just didn't think it'd been posted here.

I want Fran to have a new role now, so I can go and see her!

Initially I thought Fran's experience on IDA might do her some short term harm, but it's clear from watching the vids and listening to her stunning performances that this was merely a blip on what should prove to be a long and successful career.

I wish her all the luck in the world - she deserves it by the bucketload.

I know what you mean, and I love the fact that they posted one of Fran's I'd do anything songs on the site as well I just wish they had set it so we could download the songs as they never released a london cast album and would have loved a copy to go with my broadway cast copy of the original

Well, the owner of the vid I just posted^^ has quite a few of the recordings which, if you use Keep Vid, you can download to your computer (save as a .flv file). Then, if you go to Media Convert, you can upload the .flv file, choose .mp3, and then download the .mp3 file it gives you.

If you pester the owner of the video's owner, he might upload any others he has - I think they're all the original cast (but the Maureen doesn't sound like DVO to me, and it wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't, because she was late joining rehearsals, and these audios are from the rehearsals...).

Thanks for that I'll try tomorrow as too much wine this evening Have managed to get some of her files onto my ipod thanks to assistance from Hot Topics so that will have to keep me going until then.

I've been listening to Rent Remixed a lot recently...Francesca is so amazing. I can't wait to go see her in her next West End role.

I couldn't have put this better myself. Her success in Rent should clearly and by far outweigh any negatives of IDA.

It might take a little while for her confidence to be fully restored, but once that happens there will be no stopping her I'm sure.

Sounds like we've all been doing the same thing in listening to the Rent Remixed tracks - should have bumped up the traffic on that site no end!

Zankoku87 - thanks so much for the tips on how to convert the tracks. I will def be giving that a go as soon as I get chance (Although I might be asking you for more help if I get stuck, be warned )

Considering Fran's a member of the Rent Remixed tour page, I'd love it if it did tour with her - because then it won't cost me as much to go and see her!

In the interview she did for Rent, she mentioned that she would love to be in Blood Brothers as either Linda or Mrs Johnstone (which she's a bit young for at the mo obviously) so I guess that's a possibility. I have seen that a ridiculous number of times already, but I'd still go!

From a completely selfish point of view, I'd quite like her to do a show that i haven't seen yet - although admittedly that's rather a short list

I guess either something quite rock-y where she can belt out and really show what she's made of (like she did with 'Somebody to Love') or something really different to what she did on Rent, to give her a bit of variety.

I would love to see her in anything what about scaramouche in WWRY as I want to see that again anyway.

I'd like to see Fran as Florence in Chess, Fantine, or something from WWRY.

Also, I just figured out who she reminds me of. She sounds a bit like a younger Ruthie Henshall. They have a similar tone to their voices.

Not seen Chess is it any good? Thought of scaramouche in WWRY as its one of the only three real featured roles I know kerry ellis played meat but that was a very small role that she made famous for her incredible solo of the good die young , I was lucky enough to see Kerry in that role on one of her last shows and also have the cast recording which I love.

Isn't Chess in the process of being re-done? I've heard that Aoife (from the Maria show) will be doing it. No more details other than that though, I'm afraid, other than the fact that I love the "I Know Him So Well" signtaure song (which I can imagine Fran more than doing justice to).

'We Will Rock You' is actually on my list of shows I haven't seen yet but would like to. One of my friends put me off it a bit though by saying there's no story to it. I would still like to see it though as the songs are fab.

With help from the other thread - should Miss Saigon make an appearance again in the UK, Francesca better be playing Ellen.
