What happens after auditions
rzt

Sorry, I can't remember BGT last year too much.

What happens once the 7 audition shows are shown. Is there a bootcamp stage, or does it go straight to the semi finals? Then, in the semis how many people go through? Is there a judges' vote or just public vote?

Thanks.

I think last year the judges chose the top 24 out the acts they put through from the auditions, this was split into 3 semi-finals with the top 2 in the public vote going through to the final, leaving 6 in the final

Are they going to show 7 weeks of the audition stages then?
I didn't catch all of last years' - I know it was on over a whole week, rather than weekly, like this is, but I felt like it was a bit too crammed in last night, and thought they might have been better to concentrate on one or two venues per week, rather than trying to fit in as many as possible...is this what they did last year?
