I am starting on SW today I plan to do Red and Green days, but not too "up" on Green. Any ideas for breakfast, lunch and dinner on Green days please? Thank you

I did slimming world a couple of years ago, so assuming it hasn't changed too much;

Green

ryvita and boiled eggs

Baked potato with beans/coleslaw

Vegetable risotto
Any vegetable omelette (mushroom/onion/potato)
Spag bol or chilli using quorn with pasta or rice

I used to make a pasta salad sometimes, but I can't quite remember what I put in it. I think it was pasta, boiled eggs, mushrooms, onions, peas, sweetcorn and some bacon (using the extras - can't remember what they are called now)

Hope that helps

When I started SW, i was having more red days than green but that has slowly changed so i have more green than red now! Find that carbs fill me up more than just meat and veges.

Breakfast is mushrooms and beans (not much choice at work canteen) sometimes with an egg, 2 slices of 400g loaf.
At weekends I'll have quorn sausages with the above.

Lunch is usually a jacket potato with beans and a salad

I use a lot of quorn products: - (frozen as the ones from the chiller have syns)
- sausages with potatoes (either mashed using low fat marg/feduced fat salad cream and cheese from allowance or homemade chips)
- Quorn Roast with lots of roast pots and veges.
- Chicken pieces/fillets with pasta (with mushrooms, peppers, garlic, onions and tomatoes). Or rice and peas, sweetcorn, green beans.

Hope this helps, and good luck!

Just thought of some more options!

You can also use the quorn mince for spag bol & shepherds pie (yum!)

And the frozen meatballs with pasta in a homemade tomato sauce and cheese on top!
