LLU Types?

Does anyone know the correct terminology for the different types of LLU?

AFAIK, there are three types of Voice + Broadband Landline setups:

1) BT PSTN + BT Wholesale Broadband (i.e. Broadband using a BT IPStream product)
2) BT PSTN + LLU Broadband (i.e. Broadband via an LLU Providers equipment, but with the POTS service remaining on the BT switch)
3) LLU PSTN + LLU Broadband (i.e. where both Broadband and the POTS service go via the LLU providers equipment).

Do these types have an 'official designation' in OFCOM parlence?

I am moving from a type 1 (BT Voice + Orange broadband via BT IPstream) to a type 2 (BT Voice + O2 broadband via O2 LLU equipment), but want to be sure that I can still sign up to the BT Evening & Weekends offer. As O2 broadband customers still have to pay BT landline rental, I assume this is not a problem?

Answering my own question I found the following on the Openreach website:

http://www.openreach.co.uk/orpg/prod..._Update2_2.pdf

So my Type 2 would appear to be 'SMPF', and Type 3 would appear to be 'MPF'.

It looks like the BT/O2 arrangement I am going for is SMPF, where the 'Narrowband' provider (Wholesale Line Rental Communications Provider) is BT, and the 'Broadband' provider (LLU) is O2.

Phew - complicated! But looks like there shouldn't be an issue signing up to the BT offer ontop of O2 broadband.

Yes it should be OK - that's the combination I've got.
