Digital Tuning/sony Bravia Tv
AUTO TUNED AND DIGITALLY TUNED.fOUND .NO STATIONS BELONGING TO MUX 26. AFTER MANY TRIES, THE CHANNELS APPEARED.ALLOCATED THEN TO POSITIONS.OTHER MUXES ARE NORMAL.
CHAN 5 SEEMS NORMAL BUT BIDTV AND ASSOCIATE AT CH23 AND 24 SAY "NOT TUNED".AFTER A LONGISH PERIOD THE STAION APPEARS AND WORKS NORMALLY. THE TRANSMITTER IS WALTHAM. IS THIS MY PROBLEM? WALTHAMS OR THE STATIONS ?/ HOW CAN I FIX IT. |

Sounds like you have a grouped aerial which is struggling on 23/26 (itv/ch5).
On the bravia, if you go to the set-up menu and then to the technical section theres a signal information screen. This will show if you are getting poor results on these 2 mux's Its a common problem as the aerials round here are grouped for BBC1/2, ITV, CH4 which are at the top end of the scale (uhf 54-64) and the freeview mux's you want are down the bottom. |

Yes, you need a wideband aerial for Waltham - it's a common problem.
