Love Changes Everything IS an ALW song - it's from Aspects of Love (I know him so well is from Chess and not ALW). Not I don't think it's right for him (or anybody else in this competition for that matter) - it's a very big song with a huge range and that final note is a killer. Yes, you could rearrange it and avoid the Big note but it would be such a cop out.

Carly - Take that Look off Your Face from Tell Me on a Sunday
Kristy - I don't know how to love him from Superstar
David A - Tell Me on a Sunday from same
David C - Phantom title track or Tire Tracks and Broken Hearts from Whistle Down The Wind
Jason - I believe my heart from Woman In White”
I did wonder if ADWD might be a bit easy for DA, then again he has challenged himself (successfully on most occasions) to power ballads several times now which I wondered if it was time he "changed things up again" - had to get that in
My first choice was "Sandy" (the John Travolta song) from Grease, but that was before I found out about the restriction to ALW songs.
I know Love Changes Everything's one of ALWs. It was my next choice for DA. The one I wasn't sure about was I Know Him So Well, but I know now that's not one of ALWs even though it does sound like one! That meant Kristy couldn't do it (third time unlucky with one of my suggestions) which is why I transferred my suggestion of LCE from David A to her, and gave him ADWD.
It does seem like a hard song to sing but bi5t ibe if ALWs hardest, It's not ideal for Kristy, maybe she should taker I Don't Know How To Love Him, after all she is my favourite girl so why should I be giving Brooke the best girl song?
Not sure Brooke will be after ADWD seeing as it's a bit masculine, then again I sing and I quite like Close Every Door so what am i talking about? It'd be interesting to see how Brooke pulled off ADWD though, at least sge ciykd get away with smiling throughout!
No Matter What is a likely choice, probably for DA or Jason, but Brooke might be up for that one too.
I don't know some of the songs you suggested but I Believe My Heart is a massively hard song, harder than Love Changes Everything especially for Jason who I think is the weakest singer left.
Glad you agree on the Phantom theme for DC though, that would be amazing and if he needs a female to help him rock out on it I should be free!
Not sure whether Carly/Syesha will still be around but I'm sure there's something for either oneof them.
