Chilli Chicken Pasta Recipes?
We stopped off for a bar snack a couple of months ago and I ordered Chilli chicken pasta, it was penne pasta with chunks of chicken in a creamy sweet chilli sauce, has anyone got a good recipe for something similar? It was delicious I'd love to be able to make it at home

This is creamy because of the way the honey and goats cheese melt together rather than from using cream but ends up a sweet chilli-ish chicken sauce for pasta:
chicken breast diced onion garlic thinly sliced red peppers thinkly sliced chillis Sautee that lot up together then season with: paprika salt and pepper to taste then towards the end of cooking add clear honey and right at the end: diced goats cheese Then stir it into a cooked pasta of your choice (I like wholemeal penne or farfalle with this). Quantities of your choice! |

This is a recipe I use often from my 1000 Italian recipes book.
1 small carton double cream 1 glass white wine 1 red chilli, chopped finely 1 red pepper 2 teaspons of tomato puree 2 chicken breasts Chop the chicken breasts into chunks and fry in a little olive oil until golden brown in a large deep frying pan. Add the chilli and fry for a further 2-3 min. Dice the pepper, add to the chicken and chilli and fry for 5-10 mins. Mix the white wine, tomato puree and half the carton of cream together and add to the frying pan. Reduce down until a medium creamy consistence is achieved. Cook enough penne pasta for two. Once cooked, add the pasta to the frying pan, stir the sauce through evenly and serve. |
