Potato Starch, Maltodextrin, Vegetable Oils, Salt, Colour (E150c), Flavourings (Celery, Soya, Wheat), Wheatflour, Flavour Enhancers (E621,E635) Emulsifier (E322) (Soya), Spice and Herb Extracts, Onion Extract.

That's how it mutates into gravy.

Hot water and a thickener, corn flour will do. And tastes better with juices from meat if you're doing a roast.

Ah. Sorry. Well, I use the Bisto granules. Boil some water and add the granules to get the desired consistency. I don't know wether OXO has the thickening agent. In which case, flour or arrowroot are good thickening agents.

Making your own gravy or stock is the way to go though. Ask your butcher for some beef bones, fry them off to get a bit of colour and taste going. Stick them in a large pot with some carrots, leeks, onions, peppercorns and a bouquet Garni (bunch of herbs) simmer for a few hours whilst skimming the fat from the top. Pass through muslin into a clean container and there you have it. Home made stock which you can use for soup, gravy whatever.

I always used to use just the granuals, till my fiance made me gravy using granuals and OXO.. now im converted.

Adding a bit of Marmite or Worcester Sauce is good as well
