Simon, great guy. Thought he came accross really well on Your Fired. I wish him the best of luck in the future.

It's not just a cliche but I really feel like I can't be arsed to watch it. I probably will but not religiously and will miss a few weeks.

He's gone and completley unjustly too.

He shoudn't have been fired and he's infinitly more pleasant that the others, but his self deprecation was really starting to bug me after a bit and he seems a "bit of a plonker". I felt like screaming 'Stop putting your self down!', just as bad as being too arrogant.

You're all wrong he's mine

besides he probably lives closer to me anyway LOL

On a serious note I am gutted that he's gone he was my favourite contestant, and I think he would have done much better if he hadn't had Alex and Clare on his team who were determined to make things hard from him from the first second.

Such a gentleman in defeat as well, I'm sure he will do well in the future.

and very sexy in his own way. Lee is gorgeous - but a bit too rough-edged for me.

I am dying to see him show his true colours though.

Bet Simon ends up with a mega female fan club

I've just read in Simon's DS interview that he might pop into the forum in the next few days.

Simon, if you read this - will you marry me? Please?

the best thing about Simon (and Lee) is that unlike the others, theyre not up their own arses, theyre the sort of people you could have a pint with in the pub and chat about footie.... could you imagine Raef or Daffyd from little britain (i cant remember the blonde ones name) being able to do that?!

Theyre both great working class lads.

Simon was pretty much the only one I liked, although Raef has some comedy value.

We're more or less left with a bunch of very unlikeable people though, I'll keep watching but it's hard to want any of them to win.

Simon showed intellect, compassion, drive, humility, integrity and humour.

People like that are hard to come by in this day and age.

Too true. In some ways I pleased that he went as he is far too nice to be a big success in the corporate world. Had he won, it would be terrible if the experience changed him for the worse.

I don't see how "the ability to have a pint in a pub and chat about football" has become the barometer to measure how decent a person is

Just because Raef is diffferent, it doesn't make him a bad person. He's come across very well so far. As did Simon. Class has nothing to do with it.

Yeah he seems like a really nice guy.
Always came across as polite and respectful but looks like he can be a good laugh too (Harry Monk comment still makes me smile!).
Very humble… almost to the point of frustration on “You’re Fired”, when defending those who caused his downfall – but again, it’s nice to see someone who remains professional and doesn’t lower themselves to the level of bitching which is rife on The Apprentice.

I still think Sralan made the wrong decision, though I can see where he's coming from sacking Simon. He did loose money and that is pretty heinous but he had Claire to deal with, who I honestly think caused the failure of the task. She showed no respect at all to her manager, Simon and caused a fuss any time she was told to do something. Alex was pretty bad too in the beginning but he settled down and at least tried to get some work done. She just didn’t seem bothered whether they won or lost.

Simon was a good worker, always appeared enthusiastic and always put the effort in – something which I thought made him stand out from the rest. I do think he should’ve been given a second chance but there you go, I don’t think Claire will last much longer anyway… at least I hope not. I guess what endeared a lot of us to Simon probably contributed to his downfall in the end. He is quite an emotional person – very enthusiastic but a few times last night he had tears in his eyes. Never saw any of the aggression which Claire accused him of though.

But yeah, a great guy and probably the first time we’ve seen someone so modest and genuine, without all the delusions of self-grandeur that’s usually associated with candidates. Seems to have won over a lot of viewers too – from the audience on You’re Fired to the Chris Moyles Show team, there’s a fair few folk sad to see him go.
