Agreed.

Simon's a really likeable character and I wish him well for the future.
He's coming across really well in all the media interviews and I hope he can make a few bob on the back of it all.

If I was an employer I would snap him up, he's a hard, honest worker, not easy to find these days.

I was gutted he was fired so early, there are plenty of others who should have gone before him.

How on earth did he end up on a show like The Apprentice????

Clearly he is far too good for this show and SAS in particular!

What I really liked about him was that he didn't big himself up (best salesperson in europe). He knew his abilities and his limits.

It's a shame he couldn't have gone further, I think his downfall was him "taking a minute" out of the task and walking behind the set.

Embarassing when the cameraman followed him.

I never said Raef was a bad person. But for me personally, i can connect better to people who are on my wavelength, people who can just go to the pub for a pint and chat about football! Most of the postgrads ive met at my uni's Postgrad society are all Raefs and Nicolas's, they don't take an interest in pop culture, they have to exist at a highbrow level all the time. That's all i meant. Raef does seem like a nice bloke but i always tend to support the people who went to state schools and werent born with silver spoons up their arses. Like Simon.

From the Sun. His take on drugs, drink and Sir Alan. Interesting.

I also love Simon (WITH MOUTH!). Probably the most amiable candidate in the past couple of series - evidently his honesty and hard work was getting in the way of a bunch of lazy moaners bitching and backstabbing their way to a £100,000 job they don't deserve.

Ooh, what's this about him coming around these parts?

*applies lippy & fake tan*

”

well said....although I'd say his actually probably the most amiable candidate in all 4 series of the show...

I wonder if he knows what he's letting himself in for, there will be pandemonium when he shows up here!!! Lol!!

I agree with your sentiments but surely saying "I can overawe people with my intelligence" is bigging yourself up , equally to "I'm the best salesperson in Europe"?

Although I don't believe that either Simon or Jen (or most of the contestants for that matter) mean what they say. It's just a way of trying to stand out.

He's been my favourite candidate from all 4 series', so was pretty upset to see him go last night, but he left with his dignity and integrity intact, which is no easy feat on this type of show.

I think the offers will flood in for Simon, as he is obviously a grafter, and will get the job done. I wish him well for the future. A diamond in the rough amongst a load of cubic zirconia.

Simon was my favourite from week 1. He was the only one who came across as really honest. He was really funny - especially on Your Fired!!

I can't stand Alan Sugar, he is really irritating. I think that Simon should go and get a better job, working for someone better!!

I love Simon too. I still can't get over his firing last night. I really thought Alex was out of there, the workshy pretty-boy that he is.

Fear not, I'm sure the offers will be pouring in for Simon - and deservedly so

Dunno whether people have seen this but there's another video interview on YouTube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YVKWJ_4BGI

Perhaps a little insight at the very end there as to why he sometimes got a bit emotional.

Well said...I think he is the most genuine, down-to-earth and honest man to have graced our screens in the world of reality TV. He seems to be a fine figure of a man - it was great watching him...I'm a bit poorly at the moment, so not feeling my best, and I have to say that I wiped a tear or two away at the end of the programme...and when Terry Neill said those truly lovely things on the You're Fired programme!!!!

All the other competitors seem so two-faced & calculating in comparison to the lovely Simon.

Let's not forget that glimpse of nakedness towards the end of You're Fired...I'd have like a bit more of that...

Yes indeed....we have been cruelly denied there, which seems inhumane really on SAS part. Very inconsiderate of him.

I think we should demand our nudie Simon rights as compensation for having him so horribly ripped from us.

Same here.

And here most of us are, going on about how nice his personality is. Some people eh?

I think this should be the last time I support someone on an RTV show

I liked Simon, thought he was lovely and always threw himself into a task. I don't think they would have won the laundry task without Simon.

When reality shows first started out with BB1 .ect I always used to pick the winner. By the time Apprentice rolled on, I'd lost that touch!

My fave from series one was James, the funny toff.
He was brilliant! The bit with him, Saira and that wolf fleece will stay with me till the end of my days!!

Sod it though, I'll continue to support who I think is the best, whether they win or not.

I don't doubt for one minute that someone, somewhere will have uploaded a video of it... the internet never surprises me anymore!

Yeah, me too...I have a bad track record too overall, but I'd rather stick with my favorite than try and go with the flow, like some do.
