He's probably my least favourite this year (from those that are left anyway, as I loathed Ian and Nicholas too!)

He may be fairly good-looking, but that's pretty much his only redeeming feature for me! And I cannot stand his voice!!

So sign up here if you think lanky, naff-tie wearing Alex should be the next to get the bullet!

I actually hate him more than Claire. Claire is a bitch but stupid and transparent with it too. But this guy is such a weasel, the way he acted towards Simon throughout the task was childish and uncalled for. I actually liked him before this ep, but along with Helene he is the one I hate most now.

I rate Claire and Jenny above them.

Good, i'm glad last night's episode revealed his true colours! It seems the tide is turning and he could well get the boot next week!

Count me in. His is completely snide and spineless.
I don't think he's all that smart either.
He's playing a game, but I would have fired him even over Clare last night.
He had such an attitude to Simon from the very start, really disruptive and nasty.

He's not even good looking. I've seen more meat on a butcher's pencil.

Up until last night I thought he was ok but boy have I changed my mind now!

He is such a slimy rat. He, along with Claire, done everything they could to make sure Simon was undermined and that if they failed he would get the blame.

Then as he antisipated sugar was veering to firing Claire he suddenly switches and tries to save his skin by then blaming her!!

SirAlun bottled it last night. Everyone that saw the show and Margerat & Nick knew that that Claire and Alex tried to mess up the task on purpose. He should have fired both of them as a warning to the others........ you have a task, work as a TEAM and F*c*ing get on with it!!!!

I laughed at AS reaction when Margaret shouted "Alex".....

"If he takes me into the board room I will destroy him". Son, you're as wet as a weekend in the west of Scotland and Corrie's Roy Cropper has more dynamism in his big toe, but thanks for the laugh anyway.

He was awful last night, he wouldn't accept the "second in command" role, because he didn't want to accept any responsibility, even saying to Simon that the PM HAD to make all the decisions. Then he shouted Simon down later saying that his team had made a decision (oooh, careful!) about what product to offer!

He was lazy & unsupportive and just allowed the task to implode once they hit the ordering snag.

Gone right off him!

I was disgusted with his deceitfulness as well last night. he really has revealed his true colours and whether he is a good business man or not, he certainly isn't a very nice person from what we've been shown so far. I completely agreed with Simon on the You're Fired show last night, when he said he didn't want to win by backstabbing anyone.

I thought he was ok up until last night's edit. The man is lower than a snake's belly.

Detest the boy. And that's what he is - a boy.

Can't understand that view. I like men who look like men, not skinny little Fiesta boys with I-got-plugged-into-a-light-socket hair styles and pouty scowls.

He's a mean spirited, cunning little shit with the morals of an alley cat and all the style of a has-been WAG. Yes, he's positively girly! Yup, I would shove him out of bed.

But Margaret is just fab. Put one over on her? Not a chance Alex, you conniving little wimp.

Margaret rocks!

He's like an odious, slippery, snidey, snobby Head Boy.

As much as I enjoyed Margaret giving him a stern reminder, I secretly wish she's have walloped him with her handbag

Who was he trying to kid with that statement??! Not a chance, lad!

He's not just a wet weekend - it's a veritable monsoon!!

LETS not get into hyperbole here If I may borrow Raef's phrase. From the start I saw through Alex and he only confirmed what I already knew.

Lets look at it this way. He only showed us what it is to be human with all his flaws. This is his survival instinct tactics, the 'fight or flight' syndrome. While I am not defending him this is not the way most people behave. He is in a situation where 'he is what he is' even if that means stabbing someone in the back.

However, and this is a BIG HOWEVER, he could be in the final 4 and I would not be suprised. Some of you may LOVE him all over again.

I liked him in week one and am now thoroughly ashamed of myself for this fact! I agree he is a slimey toad!

I don't like Claire neither and would love to have seen her get fired, but I thought it was really slimey of Alex to suddenly turn on her when it looked like she might be the one to get fired.

I loved the Margaret moment last night, it was the highlight of the show!

To me he's just like Jenny although he's a man so it goes rather unnoticed.
