Just a suggestion, could the connection be the other way around? By that I mean newspapers releasing their stories on candidates knowing they will be fired in the near future?

The obvious question this raises is how do the papers know about the firings? Well if people on here can find out it doesn't seem too much to suggest the press could.

For the record I don't buy this theory as I'd heard Simon's stories before the series began. It's all quite interesting though.

Who knows but in week 7 Helene and either Lucinda or Jenny M are fired together...and SAS is angry!

I'm getting very confused now - but as Lucinda was definately working with Lee and Sara, then it must be Helene and whoever she's with that get fired. If Lucinda is PM again, the only way SAS could blame her surely is if she sanctioned the deal over the phone.

I can't see Lucinda being PM again so soon.

Thank you. Haha i feel like a right chump now, but i did type in 'the apprentice' which came up with nothing, so i gave up.

I'm inclined to believe ArtyAttack again now. The car task isn't in the final as they show a clip of it in the intro and that's always for tasks prior to the final. Lucinda is present in the task so she obviously doesn't get fired that week. That leaves Jennifer M , Jenny C , Helene and Sara. Also in the intro there is a clip of Helene and Jenny C dragging along bikes saying "we are gonna look like right idiots".

Unless that Helene and Jenny C clip happens this week I'm 99% sure that jen M and Sara get the chop.
