Apparently it's all right. She's actually ALW's chosen one and he has been giving Sam all the good comments until now just so he can persuade everyone to vote for Jessie who is being groomed to win as we speak. Hence all the recent negativity to throw everyone off the scent! So as I say it's all right then.

I both would like that to be true (as I like Jessie) and would like it to be untrue (because I don't want someone to win unfairly).

Does John know about this plan...I think someone may have forgotten to tell him...

Nah. He is just making it realistic as otherwise it would look like a fix and we all know a show with the integrity of IDA couldn't be associated with even the hint of a rumour of shenanigans like that. *I need a smiley for puke!*

Hi, i'm new though have been browsing for a little while now. Just wanted to say a) nice to meet you all and b) (and obviously most importantly) Jessie has to win.

For anybody to say that Jessie is bad at acting, well to be honest she has to have been doing something right for her to get down to the final rounds of auditions for drama schools. The amount of people that apply is incredible and rumour has it that one of them was RADA and after 4 rounds down from a ridiculous amount of people, there are only the best left. She just has to believe in herself!

Isn't it a bit of a risky plan? I mean they've lost Jessie a lot of support by constantly pointing out her flaws.

If this rumour is true they'll have to fix the phones in the final because I can't see her winning otherwise(well she might at a pinch with another Judy Garland type song)

No there is no fix. Negitive comments can only get you the sympathy vote for so long. Look at Ashley!

And yes some people dislike Jessie because they think that everything she says is an act. A bad act.

It will be a close one this year. There is no front runner.

I'm just so excited to see who will be in the bottom two next week.

If Jessie can pull it off this week then she will be in the final.

Jessie, Sam and Jodie final 3. Jessie 2 win if she's at her best.

I just wanted to highlight this photo from the IDA website. I have never before thought Jessie was attractive but this photo proves me wrong. She is stunning and looks like she hasn't a speck of makeup on. Beautiful skin. I won't comment on her performing skills in this thread.

It's photo 5, the close up of her face.

Sorry I also forget to mention that in addition to this RADA is not known for it's musical theatre teaching, which it doesn't actually have any of, which possibly may also have added to the fact she didn't get in, and as you only sing a song for about two of the auditions, it can't have just been her voice that got her in. Rant over, i'm sorry.

What did anyone think of her in the behind the scenes video where she had her hair much straighter? I actually thought it suited her much better like that (and so did my partner, to add a female viewpoint) and I would have liked to see her keep it that way.

im backing jessie too now ashleys gone.
i adore her performances.shes been given some lousy songs recently and they seem to be trying to show her in a negative light on IDA.
comments about her accent, her nerves etc.
i think shes like a young judy garland.i love her vulnerability and lack of ego.i think her performances are spellbinding.shes got a talent way beyond her years.

Don't apologise Tamsin, keep posting

I think with the right coaching and as you say a bit of confidence Jessie could prove to be the best actress out of the lot of them.

I thought it was nice - different.
I have curly Jessie-type hair and it's an absolute nightmare to straighten though.
I think Jessie's curly hair is part of her appeal so it would probably detrimentally effect her votes to have straight hair in the live shows.

I love jessies hair but would also love to see it straightened although if she does it for the show it might backfire.

Welcome tamsin I agree Jessie needs to believe in herself and I do think that the semi-finals we will see the original Jessie that we saw for the first four weeks of the show before the judges decided to nick pick an 18 year old. I support constuctive critism but imo at times it seems to be an alterior motive behind it.

I dont think Jessies in any real danger this week although she could still do with a 'blow me away' performance.

I think she's very attractive and has the best voice in the comp. I've voted for her every week.

just found this online at the daily mirror

it's an interesting piece, particularly concerning her family and music background

Aw - nice. Wasn't Lily cute when she asked 'Jessie coming?" as she blew out her candles. I'm an old softy!

Great pic, I tell you though i wish my hair was like hers, I can't get the curl to stay in and it won't sit straight either because of the curl so unless raked back I look like a frizzball

Ive got relatively short spiky hair but for some strange reason love jessies! I so hope win or lose she stays in the public eye her talent deserves to get her a long way.
