Jessie would appeal to hetero men. It's women and gays who watch this and MT. *runs*

But straight men gets dragged to MTs, so appealing to that demographic wouldn't be so bad, would it?

I thought that Jessie did well this week and i'm surprised about these comments that she ahs lost her "edge" or "jessie factor", i do think that this week's wasnt her strongest but the song wasnt great.

when they complain telling her that she needs to change something, she then does it and they complain because she changed it! poor girl it must be very confusing...

I think Jessie needs more professional help, she cant change all these things in the short time she is given, she needs more experience. I think her confidence has taken a huge knock, but she is very young and will learn. I just dont think she will manage all these changes in the short period she has.

poor Jessie, hope someone takes her under their wing......

I was rewatching the first two episodes and all the emotion and passion that Jessie had in those episodes is now gone. She needs to go back to that. In fact they made a point to have Andrew, JB and DVO say that one of the 3 teenage girls was World Class and then they panned to Jessie.

And I have no problem with her Tomboy posture and movements. I picture Nancy to be a Tomboy anyway.

She reminds me of Julie Roberts in Pretty Woman or Eliza Dolittle with her Awkwardness.

I like Jessie - now that Fran's gone she's my favourite

I hope so - visually and vocally she could be my Nancy.
This is exactly what I wanted to say....

And here is one of the best clips of the pair of them together having a laugh all be it at Jessie expense but she did bring it on herself
Could back up the idea they were pretty good friends in it?

Drunken typing is suprisingly challenging, isn't it?

Found this article on Jessie
It talks about some pictures, but they don't appear to be actually there But anyway, it's quite interesting.

She's a lovely fresh talent & has the right combination of street urchin/worldly wise woman to make a good young Nancy
I hope she does well tonight

What a lovely, lovely girl. Superb performance tonight, she reminded me very much of Rita Hayworth - anyone know who I mean?

I am thinking that ALW's comments tonight go a long way to dispelling the argument about who he described as "world class".

He does really like Samantha and I think he sees her as potentially having a great future, but I am now coming to the settled conclusion that he was talking about Jessie.

Either is ok, because I went out and put loads of dosh on both of them after he said it.

I thought I'd mention that - again!

Jessie was absolutely amazing tonight. I've always liked her, but this was the first time I've really thought 'WOW'. Just great.
