Having previously composed both a poem and limerick about Jessie, i am now working on a song which dedicated to my feelings for her is going to be called ..... (drum roll) ..... 'the girl that got away!)

Anyone seen the latest Nancy natter on the IDA site?
Totally biased.
The only comment about Jessie is that she was "disappointing". A superb example of BBC selective editing.
Even John Barrowman wouldn't have been so one sided.

I was quite shocked by that. Could have been worse I suppose. Everyone could have said they wanted Jessie off

Exactly what I thought. It seemed they made the effort to make sure that everybody else's family & friends were on it but no sign of Jessie's. The editing was totally unprofesssional

I really do think she has a massive chance, it's her or Jodie and something about Jodie grates on me!!

Agreed.

Jodie seems more popular though, or maybe that's just on here.

By the way Islastar, Pardon me if I sound stupid, but what on earth is annie get your gun, and why do people think Jessie is suited to a part in it?”

Annie Get Your Gun is based on a real life woman called Annie Oakley and is very much comparable to Calamity Jane, western american tom boy kinda thing.

Yeh Jodie's starting to get on my nerves aswell. Happy she's in the final though. although she puts a lot of emotion into her performences, her vioce really isn't that great. I just don't see what's so brilliant about her.

What did you guys think of Jessie in Buenos Aires with Rachel?
I really loved it, so damn catchy and it really felt like Jessie was being 'Jessie' in it.

Liked it they were both really good, Rachel and Jessie. Didn't like Jodie's and Sam's dancing in the other one though.

I preferred Superstar.
However, since Jessie is supposed to be rubbish at dancing -- this at least showed that she can do what is required. So a big plus - taking away some ammunition from her detractors.
She may not always be graceful - but she does give it energy and enthusiasm.

She's just got the reputation of not being able to dance, act, take direction, be graceful, take criticism or be quiet.

Most of the above are completely untrue.

I liked superstar. But I was laughing the whole time, because I can remember Jodie singing it with the red wig on the I'd do anything website.

unfortunately a lot of people have made assumptions, and no matter what she does, some are adamant she can't move or act.

If the missions show she has been successful in acting, we aren't shown enough or it has been edited, but if we are told she was no good, we can of course use the missions as ammunition then even though we are shown just as much

people seem to forget sam has had consistent negatives in the mission, jodie was weak this week and week two with acting, and in week six when jessie was highlighted as the biggest improvement, well that never happened in some people's memories!!! I really wish people wouldn't use the missions, they don't tell us anything!

Oh my that was classic! Haha. On a comic side, I really love Jodie. I think her accent gives her an extra 'comedic' edge, no offence I just think things can be said in a much more comical way with a northern accent.

Well it depends where you come from. I come from very far north of scotland. And my vioce isn't comical, I agree most people from glasgow have a more comedic edge to their vioces. Billy connoly, he comes from somewhere around that area.
