Why did they give her such a ridiculous song to sing?
Because there's a contractual obligation to have at least one Christina Aguilera solo every week?

I think Jessie's confidence will nose dive............panel really need to learn to give constructive feedback in stead of just negative

AWL said it was the wrong song...surely he has some input into the choice of songs or who ever choose her song are they deliberatly trying to get jessie to the bottom two.

not great tonight (what a song to have to sing...) but very talented, even if she doesn't win Nancy she must go far, love her performances.

As much as I love Jessie...Not her best tonight!!! She is so much better than that...Xtina isn't her comfort zone...Bad song choice and she better not suffer because of it...

Im sure its him that picks the songs.......everytime there is a comment where he likes it and the panel doesnt....he comes out with " have to give you a song which will let them see this...or that" so to me...........that means he picks the songs.

Jessie stage movement will be her down fall..........she has no grace on stage........see how she sat on the stair case.........she is still a tomboy at heart......someone will have to take a few months and work with her........she wont do this in a few weeks.

...oh yeah and Victorian street prostitutes were such graceful creatures

Jessie's tomboy nature is part of her charm, part of what makes her so unique.

first off i must say i aboslutely adore Jesse, and feel out of all the girls left she is the ideal choice for nancy, by far one of the best singers left in[if not the best], her acting ability, when seen, has been good [the accent can be worked on]...but...

the key to whether she gets the part will come down to her dancing and movement, ultimatly her tomboyish nature would genrally work well in the roll apart from a few scenes, remember she has been working the streets for years so may require a more ladish nature to her character.

but having said that they will be times where she need to appear more feminine and gracefull [tho not a princess; think 'working girl rather than lady of the manor] but obviouslly at the mo Jessie is too much of tomboy one there are several ways to deal this is firstly someone should stop putting her stelleto's, she obviously can't walk properly in them YET!!, start her off in small heels as this would not make her awkward tomboyishness so pronounced and she would then gain conferenced to move more freelly.

I personally feel that her tomboyishness will actually work for her as Nancy. As for the panel's critiques, obviously you can't work on diction, accent, movement, etc on a few weeks. Luckily for Jessie, she has six months to correct that if she wins.

Have just noticed this evening that Jessie is constantly wearing Green dresses....why???

I am sure there are other colours out there that would suit her just as well even if not better.

I think it was just the song that she struggled with this week, as far as I know none of the Nancy songs have so many words fitted into two seconds like Fighter has.

I didn't think she was too bad tonight, but nowhere near as good as she was last week (phenominal last week!)

Plus about the dancing and movement - Nancy isn't a refined dancer, she's a street girl, I really think that Jessie would be able to portray the lack of finesse perfectly (part of me thinks that sounds mean about Jess, but I really don't mean it to!).

It's annoying that we can vote in ITV shows like X Factor and Britains Got Talent but not this But then again, who knows if our votes count

I'm new to the IDA forum and this is my first post so excuse me for butting in but I was outraged by Jessie's comment from the panel last night. Yes, it wasn't her best performance but some of the comments were really vicious ... DVA just sat their with a face like a slapped arse and properly layed into her ... Grr.

Anyway, I absolutely love Jessie, I don't understand why her appreciation thread is so tiny and not many people seem to like her. Jealousy?

I apologise for upsetting anyone. I thought that this was a bit of fun. Jessie is a good singer but raw. She needs to work on her diction & movement. I would like to see her having a further year's training and then move onto supporting roles to gain experience and confidence on stage. If she were pushed too soon, it would be detrimental to her progress. I HONESTLY wish her well

All the girls have been given a colour as a kind of theme at the start of the series and all their outfits have been in their particular colour - although each has had one in a neutral colour, Jodie's turn was this week with black.

I like Jessie and did feel the comments could have been more constructive...although comments on most of the contestants were harsh. There was not a lot more she could have done with song.

Having not been in the bottom two will give her confidence a boost and she will come back fighting next week, hopefully this time with a more suitable song.
