I agree with RogT about a new generation of MT goers, I watched MT before and have been to a few shows but was never an avid 'fan' but now I am definitely much more into it thanks to Jess! I think a lot of younger people, especially girls will be into it now too and it's good they have someone to look up to.

We found out about Daniel going into Ave Q in October 2007 as he started in December 2007. Of course he had already done Sweeney Todd and I Love You Because by then. Most of the West End shows actors are contracted for upwards of 6 months (Daniel is contracted to Ave Q for a year) so the audition process may be taking place months before a cast change-over and you only hear about 'who' has been cast nearer the time.

Daniel had already been cast in Panto when he got the Avenue Q role ... but he has an excellent agent and so that was all sorted out.

I would imagine all the girls have picked up good agents since being on the show and are auditioning for many things.

It's strange that what was obviously such a large and important event was not officially videod other than by people using their mobiles.

Yes. There doesn't seem to be one of te homecoming party in Killarny either.

What a pity. It seems that the organisers do not seem to realise that they were missing out on the opportunity to capture the first public reception appearances of one of the greatest stars of the future.

I wonder if Jessie's family filmed the homecoming at all for their private use? If it were my daughter coming home after what Jessie had achived, I'd had purchased every camera in Dixon's to film it!

Just because they haven't made it available to the public doesn't mean they didn't film it. There's a lot of Jessie in cyberspace already. This time last year Jessie was just an ordinary girl on a gap year working as a waitress. The family are probably only just getting used to the fact that there is a great demand for this stuff from her crazed fans (like ourselves)

Considering how modest she is about her abilities, she probably doesn't realise what support there is for her!!

That's probably true. I remember reading that she didn't seem to believe it was her that the crowd at the homecoming was calling to!
