Thought I would barge in here!

I saw the first show and I thought that Jessie stood out as the best singer by far. I realise that you need loads of other qualities to make a whole package but, for me, she outshone them all.

I must confess I haven't been following this week on week but during a channel hop the other night I was very pleased to see she was still in and my money is still on her. I don't claim to be an all knowing oracle on these things but I watched the first Maria show and picked Connie from the start!! So fingers crossed for all you Jessie fans! x

I don't think anyone is perfect for Nancy but I'm not sure anyone perfect for the part exists!

Jessie, as far as I'm concerned, is the best there

If we could take little bits of all the remaining contestants I`m sure we could find a decent Nancy.

Also Jessie's acting (when she's at her best)...possibly someone else's movement and accent since that seems to be all people dislike about her.

Although I think that if you were to take any bits out of Jessie and change them she'd lose her appeal. Definitely for me anyway.

Visually, she is my Nancy. I also do not have a problem with her movement. Nancy wasn't a refined, genteel lady, - she was a street urchin and a prostitute who grew up in Fagin's gang. Jessie's tomboyishness is acutally a plus here.

I think people of that opinion (with which I agree wholeheartedly) are in the serious minority. Most people, it would appear, can't stand the way she moves. I like it though

I will be gutted if Sam wins. I wouldn't mind going to see Oliver if any of the other win (obviously I wans Jessie to win!) but I really don't see what the appeal is with Sam

Funnily enough, Sam's also my least favourite among the girls left. Obviously, I want Jessie to win but I wouldn't mind seeing the others, well except Sam. Unfortunately, I think she's the "Chosen One".

God i agree! i dont know what is so great about her? but with jessie , there is nothing u can say apart from her accent is sexy and she is ammmaaazzziinnnggg! i aslo didnt want Sarah to leave and i hated with great passion , bloody ashley! i was soo happy when she was voted OUT!

I agree with a lot of the posts here saying that her 'tomboyish' ways are part of her charm and that Nancy ain't no lady anyway but a street urchin who had to grow up too fast and will have none of the ladylike graces so I think she could play it to perfection.

Reading back, this seems insulting to Jessie but I assure you it's not!
It's just that whoever gets the part shouldn't be too polished.

i wish Jessie had a solo dear diary segment on the BBC site. All I see is Jodie, Ash, Niamh, Rachel and Fran. i like seeing them but i want to see Jessie too.

Jessie is amazing, she delivered that Judy Garland song so amazingly, and those are the kind of songs she would be singing in The West End, She'll deft be in the top 2

They gave her a shocking song on Saturday and I was genuinely worried that she might go out, but when she came throught that I realised that actually we are not alone and the public DO like her!!

if people voted on the song itself and her performance of it, she might well have been in the bottom 2. I love Jessie and have said so but that was really really bad last week IMO.
