I always chuckle at Sir Alans " I have " statements, when theres probably a 99% chance that the production staff have been behind most of the ideas and set ups that have occurred. The programme seems to need to paint the picture that he is some omnipotent being who does everything himself. No wonder the candidates wouldn't know team work if it hit them between the eyes.

They do seem to get more grandiose though, these statements. Last nights was " I have found you one of the biggest shopping centres in England." Well done Sir Alan, you're great !!!!

"I am, as it happens, going for lunch with the Prime Minister"

Though I think a date with Gordon 'lacklustre' Brown is probably less impressive now than when SurAlun said it...

I just wish that when SAS said that, one of the candidates replied,

"Ooooohhhhh!! Get you!"

I would pay good money to see that happen.
