Question for any openreach engineers out there

Hi All,

This is my first post so go easy on me.

I have a question for any openreach engineers out there.

I'm currently in a rental property, where i have managed to damages a BT branded extension socket, for which my landlord wants to charge me to get BT to fix it.

As its off an NTE5, i offered to replace with one from B&Q, but he's having none of it, as he payed BT to have the socket installed, so wants it replaced with one that has the BT logo.

So my question is, is there anyone out there that can supply a LJU3/3A secondary/extension socket with the BT logo on it for a small charge?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Neal

your landlord sounds like a bit of an ar%e. have you looked on ebay? loads on there usually. we don't normally carry the 3/3a's cos nowadays we just fit the 2/3a's (slightly smaller). if you have no luck on ebay i'l have a rumage round the office and see if i can find one "lying around"

Hi openreachpeep,

Yep, my landlord is an ar#e, but the place is nice and rent cheap, so can't complain to much.

Have had a look on ebay, and have also asked a few sellers on there, but know luck, hence the reason for posting on here.

If you could have a rumage for one, i would be grateful. It has to be an LJU3 as the ar#e will notice the smaller box.

not got any 3/3's but have got a 3/1 (which is the same as the /3 but has a capacitor in it). can send you that and just cut out the yellow capacitor. will work just fine. have you got the insertion tool? can get them from b&Q i think. message me the address and i'l bang it in the post this afters.
