When on the AV channels on a Sony Bravia how do you make the channel display on the top left corner disappear?

On my remote, the button just above (to the right) the big central 4-way button cycles through on-screen data. It's labelled i+ & ?

You wouldn't believe how many calls I get regarding this! - as suggested it's the 'i+' that toggles it ON and OFF, many LCD sets though use a three way toggle, with the third option an on-screen clock.

It took me ages to work out what was happening when I got my Sony WEGA many moons ago so I'm not surprised you get phone calls. It was made worse by the fact I was using a Sky remote and had pressed the info button whilst in TV mode without realising - I think if I was using the original remote it would have been more obvious.

I've had people ring who've had their Sony TV 15 years plus, and can't manage to turn it back off again!

Until you've done customer support you wouldn't believe had bad people can be - and not always old people either!.
