I watched the Apprentice on viudeo last night. At
the beginning in the House the phone rings and one of the contestants picks it up. it is about 6.15 am and Frances the receptionist tells the Contrestants where they have to meet Sir Alan. She also says they have to be at the meeting point between 30 and 45 minutes time. Now surely this is impossible. I don't know how many
bathrooms there are in the house and obviously
the girls have to have a shower and put on their make up - it takes more than half an hour surely.

I think she said the cars were coming to pick them up in half an hour.
I'm not sure how many bathrooms there are this year, but I expect its something like 1 between 2 or even more - its supposed to be a top notch luxury pad after all!
I can certainly get showered, dressed & breakfasted in half an hour, though admittedly being an ordinary bloke I dont have to put slap on nor spend hours getting my hair to look like I've been dragged through a hedge

They have half an hour before the cars arrive.

i alwways thought it was pretty unlikely aswell, unless the cars wait a bit

also goes from being pitch black to full day light.....would not be that bright half an hour later????

So add at least 15 minutes for to apply the slap and run a comb through the hair - 45 mins minimum.

They always have those obscenely early starts, and it's a different person answering the phone (or door, next week) each time. I think maybe yes, they do genuinely have approx 30 mins from the phone call to the pick up, and genuinely it is at 6.30am or similar, but it's certainly not a surprise.
