Philips Matchline CRT service menu
+3dB
18-04-2008
Hi, I wonder if anyone can advise.

I've been given a Philips 32" Matchline 32PW9644 CRT which will do nicely in a spare room (waits for Philips detractors to stop laughing ) but it overscans like mad.

For example I've tried News 24 from both Freeview and Sky sources and the ticker is barely visible at the bottom of the screen (and yes everything's set to the correct aspect ratio).

I've been trying to access the service menu and everywhere I Google suggests "062596 followed by i+ or menu". Some sites also suggest 062597.

However I'm banging my head against a wall because all it does is flip between channels when I try it.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

I found this site. There seem to be a few Service manuals etc., so with any luck you might find what you need.

Thanks for the link, breath. I've also found this:

However, absolutely none of the methods listed are working, all the TV does is flip between the channels as I press the digits.

Can anybody else shed any light?
