Recording from computer

Apart from burning a CD, is there any way I can record from my computer (RealOne Player or Windows Media Player) onto a tape cassette?

The trouble is that I don't have a CD player so can only play CDs through the computer! I have some music on the computer which I would like to have on tape.

Assuming your tape deck has a line in socket.

Buy a mini-Y cable (3.5mm jack to phono), connect this to the speaer out of your PC, line in of tape deck (with both powered down).

Then in windows reduce the relevent volumes to 50%.

Press record, then whack play in Winamp/WMP/Real Cack....
