Yes it was my first.
I haven't watched every single show but the majority of them. I've enjoyed it, it's different but I have managed to feel for some of the housemates which I guess is what the show's about. I have to say it is a bit too strategic all the time though and no other dramas seem to develop apart from who's trusting who alliance-wise etc so I wouldn't like our BB to go down the same avenue as the US version as we wouldn't have any more drunken parties or arguments over the shopping list etc lol |

im going to say yes this is my first season, although im sure i remember watching one when i was much younger? i dont know if i just dreamt that though lol, as im under the impression this is the first series shown in uk?
i love bbusa compared to bbuk. i dont think i will be able to watch bbuk anymore..the constant playing up to the cameras, fake crying after having to nominate, wearing a bikini in the cold to encourage the page 3/nuts/zoo offers, etc etc etc, will be even more obvious after watching the u.s. version! |

I've only started to watch it in the last week, will watch the next episodes tomorrow. Its certainly a different format and I think with out the live feed I just can't make a comparison on which I think is better.
As far as me watching it then the british one is better as we have the live feed and the spin off shows, they just seem to have the one show with the interviews, not really highlights or anything even and all that seems to me to be a bit boring. How do you get to know the different characters properly. I seem to remember quite a few years ago now, was the first year that ITV digital was around that E4 actually had bbusa and some of it was live feed as well i think in the mornings. I couldn't get it then so thats why I remember it as my dad had it and I wanted to see what it was like. I dont think it would be the same with out the public votes. Thers not really anything to keep your attention if you've not really got to make you own mind up about it. Dont they on the aussie one have people going into the house to do taks with them for charity etc, and also public votes, that might be an interesting twist. |

This is my first season. I love it. I like the HOH, POV, the fact that they can talk about nominations and no public phone vote.
I am currently watching season 7, the all stars series as I found it on surfthechannel. I am enjoying that as well.

I started watching BBUS: 7 back in 2006 but lost interest but I have stuck with this one and love it!
Deffo think E4 should air BB:10 after BB9: UK finishes.

Have watched since USBB 4 - I just love the plotting, backstabbing, etc.,
Much prefer this than the screaming kids we get in UKBB. |

BB9 is not a great series to start with but it's good that people that have watched it for the first time still really enjoyed it. If you liked this series, which in my opinion isn't a patch on the previous series, then you'll love the seasons that have come before it.
BB8 was my first US series last year and I think that was a great year to start with. I've watched every other season since, apart from the first. |

If, as many have said, this is not the best one, then I'll certainly watch previous ones now I finally understand the HOH and POV. I hate them all except Sheila, which is the sign of a great Reality prog for me ![]() But the strategy seems more suited to Survivor and, like Achtung, I wouldn't want our BB to follow the same tictacs.

Yes first time watching a non UK BB and am loving it. I like all the wheeling and dealing that is what playing the game is all about. It makes me mad when anyone that tries to "play the game" over here is stamped on.

i think its great.
i've seen a couple other series of it. there BB4 was pretty amazing! our producers could learn a thing or two. i would like the idea of our housemates getting the chance to take themselves off for eviction, could keep some more of the entertaining ones

My first time and I loved it. I really liked all the plotting but some of the housemates have been so hateful. I can't believe they behave like this on tv with so many people watching. I'm fancying a look at the Oz version next. Is it shown anywhere on tv or do I have to search the net?

Would be interesting to see everyones opninions as a newbie to BBUS ![]() ![]() I love all the plotting and scheming etc, it,s ssooo entertaining. I think the tasks are way superior to UKBB. The only thing that has spolied it slightly for me is the God awful, no personality presenter and her terrible interviews Davina may be a bit OTT but at least she does ask decent questions
