Well well well why does that not surprise me. So even Frances isn't really Frances ... all TV razzamadrazzle

Good read nevertheless so thank you for the link

Well spotted..

Perhaps Siralan suggested his actual secretary for the role but she failed the audition!

Can't see why she can't be called by her own name - unless Siralan finds it easier to say Frances...

I was shocked to discover also that the "boardroom" was in fact a TV studio!

Also, Gerri (s3)'s firing was re-filmed to make it look better, apparently.

Well the real Frances (Sir Alan's PA who retired recently) lives in an ex council house in Edmonton opposite an industrial estate which she inherited from her parents. Sir Alan sounds a tight boss - you think with a property portfolio supposedly worth hundreds of millions he could sort a decent place out for his former loyal PA!

YAY FRANCES! Okay so she's an actress, but she's a good one! More lines for Frances! WIsh they'd involve her just a bit more sometimes.

Why not change Margaret and Nick into 20 year olds as well?

Please don't, their world-weariness and silent disapproval of the young whippersnappers is so funny!

Surely people didn't really think she was his actual secretary?
At least she was a receptionist at one point, I guess. I thought she'd just be an actress!

Well she's getting a lot of attention recently anyway! First Simon talking about her on You're Fired and now this! She should be looking for a pay rise!
